After eight weeks, the Sassy Youngstar of Las Piñas, NAIA (pronounced like the airport), has come out on top in the Pinoy drag reality competition, "Drag Den with Manila Luzon." On the evening of January 26, 2023, the Drag Den Grand Coronation: The Finale Concert was held at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event is a combination of the screening of the show's eighth episode (the final episode), the grand coronation of the "Drag Supreme" (the winner), and a concert featuring performances from the cast. In hybrid and suspenseful fashion, the Top 3 queens (announced at the end of Episode 6) - Maria Cristina, NAIA, and Shewarma - mimicked the announcement sequence of the episode live on stage while the actual episode was screening behind them. Maria Cristina ultimately finished as the 2nd runner up while Shewarma finished 1st runner up.
Besides bragging rights, the Drag Supreme was also given a million pesos worth of prizes generously given by the various sponsors of the event. As the winner, NAIA has also won a 3-year talent management contract with Cornerstone Entertainment. Notably, the show's host Manila Luzon and Brigiding (best known as one of the drag queens who competed in "Drag Race Philippines") are also drag queens under the management of Cornerstone Entertainment.
Created and directed by Rod Singh, "Drag Den with Manila Luzon" is a joint project between CS Studios (the division of Cornerstone Entertainment that produces content for film, tv, and digital) and Project 8 Projects. It premiered on December 8, 2022 on Prime Video. The show is hosted by Manila Luzon (referred to as the "Drag Lord") with Nicole Cordoves (the "Drag Dealer") and Sassa Gurl (the "Drag Runner") serving as co-hosts. The eight Drag Queens are Maria Cristina, Pura Luka Vega, Barbie-Q, NAIA, Shewarma, O-A, Lady Gagita, and Aries Night.
Drag Den with Manila Luzon is available to stream on Prime Video.
