Gary and Martin no holds barred on Straight Talk with Jaya

After the successful pilot episode of “CSTV Straight Talk With Jaya” last June 14 (with guests Jaya’s real life best friends Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez) which gained an overwhelming feedback and number of online engagements, the Queen of Soul made another history in digital shows on her second episode.

What can be more surreal and pleasant to watch than having three of the music industry’s pillars sharing one screen, one thought, one heart in one show?! For the first time, we heard Gary Valenciano & Martin Nievera straightly and fearlessly answered rarely asked questions about their struggles on fatherhood and stardom, each other’s traits they wish they’ve had, projects that did not prosper, reinvention and even their long time professional rivalry. The episode left the audience in all awe by their own detailed confessions towards each others career and personal life. As expected, it was filled with laughter and teasing but with so much truth.   

After going through 5 straight talk questions, Concert King and Mr. Pure Energy faced the much awaited segment of the show - “Trulili O Witchikels” (True Or False) that shocked the netizens with revelations and first heard stories. They even got to randomly share that moment when they used to like the same girl and each other’s insecurities. The OPM kings wrapped up the show by imparting wisdom most especially dedicated to all their supporters who up until now are still there for them and for the young artists who are facing different challenges not only in their musicality but also their personal battle as artists. Real inspiring words on professionalism, strength of character and longevity were the most significant part as they closed the show.
